BOOM PUMPING

Our boom pumps range from 17m to 28m reach, and from 55 to 120 cubic meter per hour maximum output.

All boom pumps are fitted with cordless remote controls, allowing our operators full control of the machine while at the pour face.

As well as the regular maintenance required to ensure concrete pumps are ready and reliable for each job, as members of the New Zealand Concrete Pumping Association we carry out monthly visual and ultrasound checks of concrete boom pump structures and pipework, and annual boom certification inspection by qualified independent engineers.

  •  17m KKK 3 section Z fold. 55m3/hr squeeze tube pump.

LINE PUMPING

For greater distances or jobs where it is not practical to use boom, we can pump concrete through 50mm, 75mm, or 100mm diameter pipelines depending on pump used, concrete volume, and particular concrete mix.

Some typical applications for line pumping are:

  • Slabs or structures inside existing buildings.
  • Pours with overhead power lines or trees.
  • Steep or long driveways.
  • Retaining wall poles.
  • Blockfill.
  • Any job without access for concrete truck.

For line pumping jobs we can run pipeline from either a trailer mounted concrete pump, or a truck mounted boom pump as required.

SHOTCRETE

Concrete spraying or shotcrete involves use of concrete pumping and compressed air to spray a low slump, fine aggregate concrete mix at high pressure which allows it to follow irregular, sloping, and vertical shapes.

Some typical applications are:

  • Swimming pools.
  • Retaining walls.
  • Earthquake strengthening.
  • Water channels and scour protection.
  • Rock art features.

We have carried out shotcrete work to projects all over Northland, including skate parks in Dargaville, Whangarei, and Kaikohe, seawall repairs from Bay of Islands to Rawene, scour protection, swimming pools and water features throughout the area.
